Any aspiring entrepreneur who wants to start a SaaS business or any entrepreneur who has a SaaS business outside of their main job.
Starting any SaaS business is tough. Learning from other entrepreneurs on how to validate, build, and scale a SaaS product is key to success.
What to expect.
We'll be hosting 3 entrepreneurs who have a Side Hustle. Each one will share their 5 minute story of how they started, how they are monetizing, and how they are scaling their SaaS Side Hustle.
Rob is an Accountant by day and Software Developer by night. When he is not compiling financial statements or processing payroll, he is mapping out his next application, and debugging stack traces. Seeing a need for his employer, Stanley Steemer, to increase their online brand reputation to match their outstanding quality of work, Rob created a solution that allowed his company to communicate with their customer base via SMS, increasing their online reviews and total social ratings. Thus, Chatavise, the Business SMS platform, was born.
Matt Bravo is one of the co-founders of another successful startup, LCB Golf Concepts. Along with business partner, Stosh Cohen, they have patented one product and brought several to market. Additionally, Matt is a former mortgage loan originator, with experience working for both small and mid-sized lenders. Matt possesses a Bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing his MBA.
John Howard is a proven entrepreneur and product designer. He's designed and created huge and impactful company and culture solutions for companies such as Coca Cola, McDonalds, SeatGeek, and more! John is a business-first product designer who has launched over 7 companies and sold his last. He's now working on building out a culture & people ops solution called Slingshot.
Stosh Cohen is also one of the co-founders of LCB Golf Concepts. He has vast experience in financial audit, strategy, and planning. Additionally, he has earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accountancy from Kennesaw State University. Stosh is also no stranger to the mortgage industry; he has been a licensed realtor in the state of Georgia for over 4 years and has completed numerous transactions. Stosh is also an avid real estate investor and athlete.
Eric Crane is a product leader turned entrepreneur. Born and now based in Atlanta, Eric is launching Agile Energy Networks to connect everyday investors to local clean energy projects. At the same time he is also working on two other startups, Flatfile and Insight Optics, helping define and execute their product and business strategy. Previously, Eric was the first product hire at Envoy in San Francisco and was also the first marketing hire at FullStory here in Atlanta. He’s developed products and customer experiences across a variety of industries and at companies both large and small. In his downtime, you can find Eric trying to improve his woefully bad golf game, watching every episode of PBS Space Time, running his fantasy football league, or putzing around the dog park with his wife Shirley and their dog, Maize.
